I just took my savage completely apart for my first time to clean it all (pretty grungy lol) I just started for the first time since and the throttle servo is pushing instead of pulling i switched the servo reverse switch on my stock radio which helped but i shouldnt have to. Also, i tightened the spring on my steering post and it doesnt turn very well in one direction. Any insight on these problems?

Does it run out of power or does it not turn all the way?

If its not turning all the way where is your trim set at? You want it set as close to the center as possible.

the servo saver spring seems to absorb all of the torque when i turn that direction the other way turns just fine. The throttle servo seems to be working backwards of what it should be i know none of the wires are hooked up wrong or stripped.

My steering trim has to be all the way to the left for the wheel to even be straight when i left off the wheel.

Did you go from stock to Hitec, The Hitec's run backward from the stocker?

If the Saver is absorbing it then something must be binding somewhere.

If you have the dial to the left then take the horn off the servo turn the dial straight on radio then making sure the wheels are straight put the servo horn back on.

no its all stock. I just flipped my shocks and noticed the steering is hanging up on them problem solved. As far as the throttle I'm still lost unhooked everything and rehooked it and still the same. thanks for the help on the steering.

Check the switch on your Tx for the throttle and switch it to the other setting. If that does not work there could be a problem with the servo itself.

Ok just want to thank you guys for your help but i got to looking at it and i was sleeping when i put it back together i guess because i put my throttle pivot point on backwards like an idiot. lol everything works right now lol Lesson Learned: BE AWAKE WHEN YOU PUT THINGS TOGETHER!!!
