hi guys...is the servo saver at its strongest when tightened right up? i replaced the standard servo as it was too weak with a 20kg bangood chinesium servo (the red ones everyone uses).....for the second time now ive stripped the teeth from the alloy servo arm and I'm thinking the servo saver need backing off a bit??

Yes it is, loosen the knurled nut a bit at a time and check if you are getting the proper setting to not tear up stuff....

If you tighten it all the way, the saver won't split like it's supposed to. It should only be tightened so the knurl nut is a few mm from the bottom of the chassis.

I think there was a stiffer spring you could use, but that was a long time ago. For all I know, they all use the same one now, unless you have an older truck.

Looks like the weaker one was black and the HD one is silver:

Softer spring that comes on a lot of them pre-X:
