Savage XL with custom painted body

Hi, got another savage and this time with a custom cheesy hot flaming carbon graphic painted body.
the body was intended to go on the 25, but I installed a cage on it so no go..

I like that body & the paint. shame it's not a LWB to match the length of the XL TVPs

What is with savages and the missing radio box lid ?. Someone, somewhere must be collecting them. LOL.

I tell you man, I have bought so many new radio boxes for these truck, think have bought 6 last year alone. got 5 in my parts box with no lids or no insides, ☺

Is strange though how/when do these people lose them baffles me, surly when you have installed all your radio gear & battery hump put lid on you don’t need to open it up again unless they haven’t got the hump charging lead I guess?

I have seen that exact shell on E Bay a few times, can't remember the seller tho....

no I didn't painted it myself and yes its not made for the xl but it does fit nicely when u move the body post up.

I think people don't bother to put the battery cover back on cause they either lost the clips or its just a pain and thru time they forgot where they left it..
