savage XL transmission slipping?

my new savage XL transmission is slipping has any one heard of this and how do i fix it?

this is my 3rd XL and I've never had this happen before :stressed:

Check your slipper. Then your clutchs

the slipper and cluch are fine

it seems to be inside the transmission like it comes out of gear

does it have reverse on it by any chance ?
I would have said the slipper clutch first, make sure it's tighten all the way down the loosen 1/4 of a turn.
if you have reverse , make sure it's not slipping out

no reverse and the slipper cluch is tightened all the way down

OWB in the tranny possibly. If that's what it is I'm sure HPI will replace it for you, give them a call! They have awesome customer service, they have replaced things for me when they didn't have to and they didn't even ask for any proof of purchase. They just took my address and mailed me the part. Great company to deal with, and IMO the best service I have gotten from anywhere!

I just got off the phone with HPI they told me that it was the one way in the transmission and they are going to send me one and a new spur gear, cluch bell set

I missed this thread. There was a batch of XL tranys that got out with bad OWB's a while back .. See your taken care of.
