Savage x tire size

Hi guys . Can a 3.8 sized tire be used on the savage x nitro truck ?

Stock is 3.2". I run traxxas 3.8" on mine, but you need 1/2 offset wheels I believe or they rub on the shocks. I think the 3.8 wheels/tires are wider than the stock 3.2" wheels/tires. At least the big bores and my 3.8" proline trenchers rubbed. They are zero offset wheels. I had to put the wide axles on it. I ended up going back down to traxxas t-maxx 3.8" tires/wheels though that were 0 offset and kept the wider axles on it. I moved the trenchers to one of my 6S electric trucks.
