Savage X 4.6 Conversion kit

Hi all. Does anyone know where to get a good brushless conversion kit for a Savage X? Kenshaw designs are closed and I have been searching the internet but can not find one? Any help would be appreciated.

Sadly these days any kind of parts for the Savage line are becoming like hens teeth scarce to be sure..
All I can suggest is reading through the Builds thread and see what others have done then try to locate what you will be needing piece by piece on E Bay, or possibly find a FaceBook group dedicated to the savage and maybe get lucky enough to find someone selling a conversion or related parts......

Fast lane machine is where i got a lot of my chassis parts. Went with castle creations esc and motor combo.

They do not have a kit you pick the parts you want like i did. Are you wanting to use battery trays? I did not i put my batteries between my tvps.

what parts did you need. I know I'll need a engine mount but what about the gears?

I converted my two speed into the flux single speed. The pinion and spur i went with stock flux.

what size motor did you use? I have a 5700kv castle creation sidwinder 3 I was going to put in it. Thoughts?

I used Kershaw designs lcg motor mount but they closed shop.

That will do very poorly in a Savage. That setup is made for 1/10 scale and can only run 3s.

Yeah, you need to go with a 2000kv-2200kv motor.
