Savage octane xl octane aftermarket cdi?

Hi all New to this group.
I just got my first RC car and its a lemon.

Brand new only ran 3 tanks of fuel and the CDI SH $T ITS SELF!!!!

Any ideas on a aftermarket CDI?

I highly recommend calling hpi they might replace it free of charge the first time.

Cheers guy's, I worked it out. It wasnt the cdi, it was the magnet in the flywheel, I believe this is the cause of all the problems with the octane.

The magnet came out and wasn't getting spark. This could cause low and inconsistent spark. And how it is presed in... wow hpi should have picked this one up.

Now the problem is I put the magnet in upside down and cant get it out. Ohhh mr Hart wat a mess
