Are you using the stock savage brass spacer on the end of the crankshaft ?sorry i not replied earlier
Sorry i not replied earlier mate i been waiting on parts, Bought a new flywheel new securing nut new bearings and new spacer to replace the brass one that you mentioned. the new spacer is slightly thinner and i can tighten it right down and it turns with a little resistance. Think if you tighten it right down the bell housing rubs on the clutch but slacken it half a turn it spins freely. I also don't think the flywheel goes down far enough on the collet but the nut is really tight downAre you using the stock savage brass spacer on the end of the crankshaft ?
