Running XL RWD instead of 4wd

anyone ever run the xl in 2wd

I have with an X. It's amusing for a few minutes. Sadly though traction and control take a real hit when you run the savage RWD. And FWD is just pointless.

Disconnect the front diff from the front tires as well. The drag the diff causes makes the handling worse.

I had a t-maxx like that for quite a while. Was kind of fun actually. Like driving a big ass stadium truck.

yea, my dad's 25 was rwd for awhile until he got new rims( hexes were stripped). it's entertaining. especially with a locked diff like he has

but I would do it all the time. like X said, grip really struggles. since it is such a heavy truck.

and yea, remove the front dogbones. no need to put wear on the bearings.

it was fun going back to 4wd just to much for the rear tires to handle
