Hi, building another Savage from my accumulated spare parts and have a very tired set of turnbuckles so was looking to get replacement plastic rod ends. Couldnt find any stock rod ends with later stronger design, so wondered if there are any others that are long enough and been tried and tested. RC4WD do a wide range for scalers but don't know if they are strong enough. Their longest is 31mm which is about 7mm shorter than stock. Otherwise will have to get complete set of new tie rods.

Couldnt find any stock plastic ends local to me and didnt fancy aluminium option, so got some Hyper MT tie rods / turnbuckles which are same length and M5. Fit fine so will see how the hold up.

I found when I used to race my savage that most things that broke apart from say bulk head braces that I replaced with metal just ended up bent & twisted, where as when they were plastic they had the scope to flex on impact & were more forgiving! 👍🏻
