Ribbed ‘for her pleasure’

Who remembers much about these optional (standard on original SS) HPI ribbed pipes?

See a lot of mixed opinions on them and from what I remember years back they was quite loud over other pipes. Looking inside they there’s no cones or anything, just hollow.

May just keep them for old HPI Nostalgia

If they hurt you that bad I can take them off your hands. They do look amazing.

Everything has a price and my savage has no pipe.

Years ago around 2007 a guy in the apartments had one on his savvy. Loud but throaty.

I’m sure I had one years back but run 1 tank through it and just remember a distinct LOUD sound it made, after that sold the truck and went brushless (could never get the hang of tuning a nitro)

Seem discontinued while ago now
