Good morning all. I take the liberty of writing to you in order to obtain information on a problem with my savage. He lost the traction of the rear wheels. Where does it come from. Thanks for your advice.

Check the screw shaft hasn't come out of the cup joint where the centre rear shaft connects to the rear diff or the gearbox. If it has then the cup joint will just spin without turning the wheels.

When you check and re-install the "pins" be sure you check them all and I use red loctite on all 4 of them.

I use red on those pins as you don't take them apart very often. Tip on how to get red loose, put a drop of fresh red on the threads and usually it will break the bond, if not use a butane torch to heat them. Or if you have a real good soldering iron heat the pin on the thread side with it.
