I was travelling thru Billings MT and stopped in at a local RC shop. I was looking for yet another body (I keep bashing the hell outta my box of the trucks and ripping them compltley off). I'm gonna get a cage from Drummer after the holidays and spending all the christmas cash.
But the owner of the hobby shop showed me a trick that looked killer! He was laying down that mesh drywall tape to the weak spots on the truck then using a bunch of Shoe Glue and it looked solid compared to the plain body. I got the tape and glue for a few bucks and tonight I'm gonna give it a whirl, anybody out there hear of this trick? Any tips? I'll post up some pics later on show what it looks like.
