I am doing the mgt tank mod on ext lcg flm's. I see most people use a RPM box and mount it to the tvp, how far does it stick out because in pictures, it looks like it sticks out alot. I was going to use a radio shack project box, but the smallest size they had was 3x2x1 and was a little big for my likings.

I cannot use the box that goes on the bulkheads because I put my hump pack up there, or is there somewhere else that I can put that battery besides behind the back bulkhead.

Also, Do I have to use the FLM engine plate to fit the tvp's, I notice alot of the builds in this thread are using the engine plate. And does running a proline badland tire look out of proportion being that the tvp's are extended and the wheels are 3.2inch (3.2 inch rim?)

-Thanks

You can mount the RPM box in the front of your rear shock towers if you do not like it sticking out the side.

Thanks for the quick replys. I'm really looking forward to getting this all done.

Badlands look sick on the ext. That is definitely next on the list.

Edit: what about the flm engine plate, is that necessary?

You can use any engine plate with the FLM chassis, I'm using the Innovative RC plate with FLM's and i did use the stock plate with them for a week or so also.

I have my RPM on the side of the TVP and havnt had any problems with it there, it sticks out around 40mm, but i did originally have it mounted on the front of my front shock tower.
