Recieved my Gen1 Sprint from Chimera this morning, Thankyou for this chassis!!

this is what i got from this member....
Carbon chassis and top plate....Sweeetness +1

Spent a few hours rebuilding the diffs putting new grease in them. Was gonna lock the rear and spool the front but decided against this as i want a touring car this time. Already have another DriftR project still in the process being built (another thread on HPISF). So i left the diffs both planetary to keep it original.

While i had it apart, i did both fr/rr bulkhead mod so debris could get out and not destroy a belt.

Rebuilt all 4 shocks using 30w oil, as you can see this came with the sway bars installed. Good start so far...

not sure if the Gen1 Sprints came with this option or not but it has the alloy heatsink motormount.

Nosram Tornado 17x2 brushed motor
Nosram Hawk ESC w/Rev
Futaba servo

Needs:
x1 wheel hex pin (missing)
x1 right rear suspension arm (broken)
x1 7.2v stickpack
Lexan body

then its to the track for a test run!!

No racing, well maybe drag racing. Just something to run on the street, that was made for running on the street. Basically, just building for speed.

maybe keep the springs up front medium and use 30w oil
and stiff springs for the rear?

not sure what motor your thinking on?? Brushed/Brushless or Nitro??

Tires youll want some awesome grip so research those for what youll need. They are rated for track temps depending on what compound.
