Alright, We have come out with a new wing mount for the Savage X it is very similar to the DPP mount but somewhat different. It will accept the Hot Body's C8152 Wing mount which we will also stock.

It is made of out outstanding Quasi Weave 4mm thick Carbon Fiber. It also allows the wing to be mounted in a few different locations and is very light weight. It is supported by the shock screw and the 2 lower screws. It will come with 2 longer screws for the lower mounts.

This PRC184 kit will be priced at $19.75 which included the Plate and longer screws.

Yes it is a very nice product. I do not have any in stock currently but will shortly.

We will accept money anytime for them and will ship as soon as they are cut.

They are very stout and will not bend like an aluminum piece will.

Just looked up the part numbers and the Savage X and Flux have the same rear shock tower. Looks like I need to order one up!

This is a direct bolt up to the FLUX Towers as well and will act as a great wheelie bar. I have even seen guys add air plane tires to the wing so you don't rub your wing off against the concrete.

Here are a few shots of this installed on my Savage Hybrid Build Truck and what it looks like with the PRC184 Plate and the Hot Body's C8152 Wing Stay attached.

In all honesty that's a pretty cool setup. If I were to do anything other than what I have I'd give this a try and might just do on one of the trucks.

Yes you can still use the rolo start with this mount. It does tighten the area down a little but is still accessible and usable.

Yeah I think I am going to have to get one of this if I can get a little spare change up.

Is this mount still available for sale? I just sent them an email and so far no reply, maybe it's the holiday season?

here is a picture or 2 of my Tamiya Terra Crusher with the Team Losi wing and mounting setup we adapted to it, not usually a fan of wings on monster trucks but this one turned out pretty well

you can see we drilled it to work with the Tamiya rear bulkhead plate and it is actually pretty strong and looks like it belongs on the truck....

so my point is anything is possible with some redneck engineering....
