On board speed meter

I recently bought a quanum speed meter from hobbyking, it worked for 5 minutes and that was it. I tried contacting customer services but its been a week since I sent them an email. I lost hope and my 75$.

I'm trying to find a good quality, reasonable price on board speed meter to measure speed and maybe total distance travelled. Just the basic capabilities. Does anyone have any ideas??

Is this the one you have??? did you read the reviews??? I did not find a quantam speed meter on their site...... perhaps a link to your purchase would help......

There are phone apps that record a track of speed, altitude, and distance etc. A running or dog walking app? Could strap phone to your truck and gather some data.
