New Xl Flux Owner; First Upgrades?

I got a used gtxl-1 that I want to upgrade, and it already has a few on it, fireteam tires, upgraded wheel nuts, and metal f/r skid plates. What cheap upgrades should I make? Two that I'm thinking of is changing the non-metal diff gaskets to metal ones (does anyone know why there's non-metal gaskets?) and better diff gears.

Who makes the tie rods ?

I have an XL flux v2 coming soon and curious about the beefed up tie-rods too.. first thing I want to do I think. Thanks!
