Need a new body

Hey all,
I am in the process of looking for a new body and came across a fibre glass body on ebay and was wondering how fibre glass bodies compare to lexan bodies? Thanks in advance.

fiberglass is heavy and will crack. there's a thread on here where someone tried one

Plus you have to paint them externally so the paint will her all scratched up ect. Go lexan IMO

Iv got a fibre glass shell! They are good and take a he'll of a bashing! But like people have said they do eventually crack. Very good for bashing tho!!

I have just made a new shell from 1.5mm Aluminium sheet. It was lying around my workshop and I thought "why not", "how hard can it be?"...

I will post pictures when the paint has dried.

I know it will dent, and the joins will split, the paint will scratch, but thats all part of the fun for me. Its not a "shelf queen" its a "truck for bashing"!!

I cant wait to get a new servo, and go and whoop the ### off my mates MTA4 sledgehammer!! AGAIN!! lol

And this is my 6 year old daughter, after she was thrashing my truck at the park so she could tell her friends how cool her dad is.

Oh forgot to mention, the body leans cos one of the body mounts is not fixed in place.
