My Savage has a mind of its own. Help

Why when my Savage is running it just goes o. It's own. My receiver can't control it. I'll be able to control it for a bit then i have no control. Please advise. Thanks

What does and what doesn't it do when you try to control it?
It goes on its own? Servolinkage ok? Idle too high?

I will accelerate and it will continue running and my receiver doesn't stop it. Ill push to break or accelerate and it does nothing. Until a couple of seconds or so then it seem like it will pick up signal from the receiver.

Are the batteries fully charged?
What battery do you use for the RX?

Try re-binding the TX-RX.

does it still steer?

check the linkage and carb to make sure nothing's stuck. also check the antenna.

You run in any water? Sounds like you got the throttle servo wet and it's dieing on you. I have yet to have a throttle servo go bad that didn't go WOT on me. Why they never go full brake, I'll never know.
