My First RC truck - Savage Flux "XL"

RSC mod. Once bitten twice shy. I had the lower screw pop and cause the right C-hub to bend last race. Not any more. locktited and capped off with a 4mm stainless locknut. There is 1.5mm of clearance between the axle and the nut. I couldn't get locknut to fit up top so I settled for a longer screw there.

Dude i had this problem too. My right lower screw came loose and it went missing when i was trying my new setup. I believe the c hub is also slightly bent. But i know its not a big deal.
What screws are you using. The stock screws are a little shorter to put in the locknut.

That is one nice truck! How many lbs have you knocked off with the c/f?

Well, I used the longest 4mm screw I could find that could fit the space.

I am unsure at this point. I'm sure the aluminium RSC, titanium arms and full 12.9 hex screws put a fair bit of weight back in. Once I get a weighing scale I will check.
