Here's my build so far. I started with a used .21 or .25 not too sure but she's a whole lot better now! I have before and after pics. This is what I've done so far.
- IRC 6mm front and 1 inch back lcg kit.
- flux big bore shocks(temporary)
- hitec 7955 steering servo
- vanquish aluminum servo horn
- aluminum bulkhead's
- roto start system
- 3 speed transmission (on way)
- silicone exhaust deflector
- shock towers and skid plates fr and bck
- went back to stock throttle and brake linkage
- on/off switch
- switched from junk 20% nitro to O'Donnell 30% race blend.
- 3rd gear upgrade (on way)
- bellcrank and servo saver
- dual fiberglass disc brakes.
- fs-gt3c tx with fs-gr3e receiver
The truck had quite a few things already done to it. I just put my own twist on it. it had the k5.9 in it with 18mm offset for the tires so it was quite a bit wider already. Had a Robinsons racing cb and 3rd gen spur gear. I'm trying to figure out what set of shocks I'm going to go with... I love the look of the lst ones but I don't really think it's needed. I switched to the flux big bores and man I think those are amazing compared to the bent ones I had. I still want something better. I'm open to opinions on shocks! I'll be adding more with the build as I get parts
