I now, RPM box and Rush battery box - but I don't want anything on the outside of the TVP's - this is my 9 year old son's truck, and I want everything well protected
I was able to make a battery tray out of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" aluminum angle iron and nylon rod - but I consider this temporary until I come up with a non-hack installation idea. In the long run, I want something not as ghetto, but it will work for now!
Funny thing is that this is the same piece of angle I have used for 3 mid-tank kits, several servo mounts, etc - definately getting my $3 out of it
I ended up putting the RX on the other side of the TVP from the battery tray - this is again a hack, but keeps things safe and protected. Obviously I also zip-tie them in place, I just don't have a pic of that.
So, has anyone else done anything similar? I tried putting the battery in the front along the TVP, but my steering servo is mounted to the underside of the mid-tank plate, and it eats up all that space...
Any ideas are appreciated!
