Hello, getting a new jumpshot sc flux for my son, it comes with a 2s LiPo, but i think itll be too fast for him at first.
i also ordered me a truck so we can race and stuff, i ordered a maverick strada, also brushless and it comes with a NiMH battery.
Just wanted to ask if i could just swap batteries on his sc or would i need to change any kind of settings anywhere? also would it be the same thing on the strada? thanks for your time

My son is 9 years old. I bought him a Savage XS. On 2s the lowest speed setting on the controller was perfect for starting out. He can now handle 3s on lowest setting too without too much trouble.

I'm trying to find how to lower the speed on the jumpshot flux sc truck. It's a tf 41 .
He tried my maverick one before and liked it more because he can drive it slower. On mine there's a dial.where I can make it slow or fast.

I'm on the newer tf 50, but i think yours should have it. Just that it not as accessible, you need to use that little screwdriver to adjust ir.

Ok, could be adjustable with a lower cell count too. My car is rated for 2S and 3S and its night and day difference between the two

It's on NiMH batteries right now..hehe
You think it'll be possible tonjust swap the receivers .. strada to the jumpshot so I can use the strada remote on the jumpshot and vice versa?

I have had a break from RC since the 90s just started up the hobby again, I'm no pro on modern eletrocnics sadly 😀 But check their output pins.

Thanks for the replies.. I was thinking..when calibrating.. instead of pressing full throttle, what if I go like half way. I think that will make it slower?
