Is this normal?

I notice when i am trying to start my Savage the steering servo keeps jerking the carb in and out, quick rapid jerking. Batteries? Bad servo?

crappy AM radio, time to upgrade to something like a DX2 SPEKTRUM or simmilar

oh yea ....... it is "NORMAL" for the servo to glitch when the ignighter touches the engine, every "stock" radio seems to do things like that

Not to nit-pick, but the steering servo will not do that to the carb. As previously stated, AM radios will twitch. Do you have a fail safe installed? If the fail safe senses what it thinks to be low voltage, the servo will twitch.

I had the same thing happen, then my truck ran away! Full throttle under a FedEx delivery truck that was going 30mph or so down the road. Needless to say, I bought a Futaba 3PM after I got it fixed. No problems since.
