I know this topic has been asked before.
The current locknuts that appear to be selling online are way too soft. Useable but not ideal.
Other posts said the Axial 31087 per this post https://www.hpisavageforum.com/threads/savage-25-change-savage-x-wheels.20066/
was good option but they seem to be discontinued.

Are there current better options now?

ARRMA has some flanged lock nuts but Amazon says they are plastic. ARAC9698 and I don't know if they would even fit.

Those Arrma locknuts are the best option. I used them before the new 17mm hexes came out. You have two codes for the same product, AR708007 and ARAC9698, they are made entirely out of steel, not aluminium like the HPI ones.

Thanks!! This is the info I need.
