Hpi savage x 4.6 spur gear upgrade

Thanks for the reply, Seanthemechanic. But the link is to the original plastic Spear gear design, which we all know is not reliable. The moment the plastic starts deforming, it reduces friction and increases slippage, consequently generating heat to the point where the gear's functionality diminishes. I think it’s going to be impossible to find that Robinson setup. I’ve been running the plastic spur on one of my trucks and have never had an issue with it. It’s still the original. And there’s an LRP .28 spec 4 behind it too. Before that I had a modded picco .28.
