not a stupid question .. both different sizes by the looks of it .... and yes you have to replace both top and bottom on both steering post ... so it takes 4 bearings total ...

If i remember right, you need the 6x10mm bearings, and yes you need a total of four. Not sure where the 8x16 are used - looks like the Savage 25 only according to Tower... Anyone confirm? I can check the manuals tomorrow...

Those 8x16's are standard on all of the trucks.

Not sure where they are located though.

Yes the 8x16's are for the carriers (front two and the rear two) you need a total of 8 for the carriers and 4 (8x10) for the steering posts.

ulua, don't buy those metal shielded bearings, your better off getting rubber shielded and you can get them for a dollar each on boca or avid if you search the size.
