Hi All i have emailed HPI Racing about the parts shortage and here is a copy of the reply.
    Good morning,

    Thank you for your email,

We have been getting Savage spares in over the last 4-6 months. However we have had such high demand for these they almost go out of stock within a couple of days. We have regular deliveries now, so you should it increase over the next few weeks.

Is there anything in particular your looking for that you struggling to get?

    Kind Regards

    part 2 of the email
    Hi Dan,

Can you let me know where you are located?

As we currently have 86080 in stock, so there shouldn’t be any reason you can’t get this part.

We don’t have the dogbones in stock, but due with us 8th March. So stock is coming in ok, with a few parts delayed.

The Savage XL is still supported for spares.

I was having trouble finding my XL axles so i emailed HPI again here are the emails i got from them.
    Good morning,

    Thank you for your email,

Unfortunately the axles are out of stock at the moment, but due back in with us on the 26thMarch.

However we do have a couple of lightly used sets in the workshop. So if you want to send me your postal address then I can get you a set sent out FOC. These will get you back up and running.

    Kind Regards
sent my address and got this email
    Hi Dan,

    Thank you for your email,

I have sent the parts out to you. However we are based in the UK, so it may take a week or so to arrive with you. I have added the spacer set as well.

    Kind Regards

what more could you ask for i will be looking for a few sets in march....

That's pretty cool. I bought a set of those off ebay a few months ago for my flux. Guess I got lucky.

I'd say that is customer service gold right there. I'm glad they still understand that taking care of the customer is their key to success. Especially with the extended time period of no parts availability.

Will be really nice once they start churning out parts again... I have 2 savage's on my shelf and I'm afraid to drive either of them! Especially the flux, since it's so brutal with power/torque.
