Now available from HPI Racing are four new GT-1 bodies in a variety of colors to customize the look of the Savage and T-Maxx monster trucks! Each body comes painted, trimmed, decaled and molded in tough polycarbonate to withstand the rigors of off-road racing and big jumps! Already conveniently cut out and painted so there is zero prep time, each body also has a full selection of decals already applied, including windows, headlights, front grille, tail lights and logos!

I like painted bodies. No really....... I rate painting a body as the worst thing to do with a nitro truck other than breaking in a motor. HPI does excellent mask and decal jobs for there bodies. The cost isn't much more than an unpainted body which is nice also. I wish you could go to the HPI site pick a body. Choose a color and graphic format from a list, pay and in a few weeks have your body. But until that magical day I can deal with what I can get. They do a good job on color selection also. You can pic from several color schemes and that is also nice. The cut lines are smooth and the body has good detail work. I'm sorry there isn't much you can say about a prepainted and cut body. You do not want to see what these bodies look like after a day with me though. Really I'm not easy on them and the first thing to go is the tailgate and roof. i do beat on the truck and i love doing wheelies flipping it on the roof than jamming the brake to pop it back on the tires. This is no good for the body and I do not believe in shelf queen bodies. All you have to do is look at the Big truck body. $150.00 and it was a wreck in a few days. I think if you make it pretty than you should tear it up. Beat it like you stole it.
Here are my thought on HPI bodies:
Detail 7 There generic truck detail is OK but there detail on other bodies like the Mustang and Camero are better.😛eace:
Looks 9 The lines are crisp and they do a great job on the scheme😛annedout:
Cost 10 Cheaper to buy it than paint it yourself most times. I just really hate painting bodies.
Durability 8 come on it's thin plastic! What do you think is going to happen!:hammerpoke:
Fit 10 Well they are made for the savage. They do cut out the engine area nice and have cut lines if you run a roll bar.
I like painted bodies and I like the decals for them better than Parma.
