Ok so that's it for now.
I'm waiting on a flux screw kit (all the stock screws) mainly for the bumpers, skid plates stuff like that. The MMM Combo will be here next week. In the pictures i didn't even mount the big bores :lmao: ill get around to it.

The PRC wont be any time soon, might be able to pick it up with the cash from my tax return :)

Ill update you guys when the MMM comes in.

cheers
- Brandon

Thanks for the kind words Fred.
Yup they look pretty sweet, they might be replaced for PRC in a few months.
and yes once the funds come in ill be getting the extended motor mount, servo plate and ext tvps.

Looking good brandon .:rock1:

Thanks

Brandon, would the prc motor plate work with the flm tvps?

if the flm tvps are xl length (and i think they are) you can get the prc extended motor plate. its extra long and you can simply wire tie your esc to it behind the motor like bank did.

i have the ext prc's so i didnt have the length back there to fit the esc so i used a flm cross brace and bolted to it. came out kick butt & very well protected back there.

using the ext motor plate back there is about a zillion times easier.

Fred can you post a pic of your esc set up ?
I'm curious on how do you did it.

Like yourself, at this point I can not afford all the prc so I thought that motor plate might work well with the flm xl tvps?

Update Time

UPDATE TIME !

ok guys i wrenched on the savy a little more. Nothing big, mounted the big bores, mounted the receiver box, and made a PVC stand :)

• Aluminum Big Bores
IMG_3753.jpg

• Front shocks mounted
IMG_3754.jpg

• Mounted the shock on the outside of the groove
IMG_3755.jpg

• Used a M3x20mm and 3M lock nut
IMG_3756.jpg

• All done :)
IMG_3758.jpg

• Believe it or not i didn't even fill the big bores yet
IMG_3760.jpg

• Marked the holes for the receiver box
IMG_3775.jpg

• Drilled them out with a 2.5mm bit
IMG_3776.jpg

• Tapping the hole out to 3mm
IMG_3780.jpg

• Mounted
IMG_3781.jpg

• How it's mounted M3x15mm button head
IMG_3782.jpg

• Did the battery box mod, just need some fuel tubing to go around the inside

IMG_3783.jpg

• Got the stuff to make the PVC stand (they only has 3/4" PVC so i got that. Total came to $12 and i got the PVC cutters for $25
IMG_3762.jpg

• Cut the pieces to size
IMG_3763.jpg

IMG_3764.jpg

IMG_3765.jpg

IMG_3766.jpg

• Fits good
IMG_3767.jpg

• Masked off the parts i was going to paint red

IMG_3772.jpg

• But it was going to be a pain in the arse to mask the black off and paint the white red so i painted it all Black
IMG_3773.jpg

• and to finish it off here is the difference between using a pipe cutter and using a PVC cutter
IMG_3800.jpg

Hopefully ill have the MMM tomorrow. and i have to get a hold of Kevin (kvnnets) to get his RSC :)

Looks good brandon. Keep us updated once you get the esc and motor. Where are you gonna mount the esc?

Thanks Jeff.
The esc will be in the stock location for now. When the funds allow me i will pick up the prc ext motor plate to mount the esc behind the motor.

Thanks Fred.
When i started the build i said by spring, winter isn't even over and i have 90% of it done. Yea i'm saying around 13 LB by the end with motor and esc.

Looking good Brandon!

Do you have any pics of the clearance on the shock and upper a arm?
Did you use the stock mounting on the tup of the shock? I can't really tell in the pics.

You must have a good pvc cutter, with the one I got from Home Depot I get a squarer cut with my hacksaw.

Keep it coming bud!
