Exhaust pipe in contact with roller cage clip

[F-Type]

On my Octane the exhaust pipe is in contact with the front right clip securing the roller cage.
This isn't very good, as in the end it might risk scratching a hole in the exhaust pipe.

What does it look like on your cars?

One wonders what HPI was thinking here, the exhaust pipe is in the way on the outside and the fuel tank fastener on the inside, making it more or less impossible to insert, remove this clip.

Mine doesnt touch and I can get the clip out.

Mine has a gap also. I have seen pictures of Octanes where the manifold has bent pushing the exhaust up against the side of the truck.

Ok, perhaps mine has got bent as well then, however that happened. I guess when the exhaust has been really hot then.

your manifold should have a nice gentle curve like this

I would say it does, but I will double check.

Mine cracked apart and I just replaced it.

Well, it does have a gentle curve, but it is more than 90 degrees, so it must have been bent at some point. I'll try bending it back when it is hot.
