Hey Guinness Dublin would you please tell me what happened to Gazzman...?
Yess I've also been thinking about this... when I joined the forum, he was the one that always replied & helped on almost every thread, and now suddenly the last time he's been seen was on 13 June??

Yes have PM him several times asking the same question with know reply, when he came round my house end of last year to pick up some savage parts & met him for first time we discussed meeting up in summer for a blast with our savages!
Hope he’s okay, very strange as he had a great in depth knowledge of the savage & knew every nut & bolt of them??

Well Boys & Girls, I can officially say that I am back. Have had a few health problems with the old ticker but back and catching up on the posts.
Still been messing around with the Savages since I was last here, Still got 11 in my fleet. Had to break the Quad late last year purely down to a lack of space but that didn't go quite as planned as ended up building another Savage XL 5.9.
Plan for today is to fit a new 3 speed with reverse mod & mixer pro. Had this kit kicking around for awhile so thought it's time to put it somewhere. Next thing will be to get rid of the K5.9 mill as have 3 of my other trucks running these. The motor is cherry with only around 5 tanks run through it. It has, like all my K-series mills, the start shaft switched out for OS type so they all run the standard Rotostart backplate.
Anyway here's what it looks like before I strip it down for the upgrade.
