Engine stalls after half throttle!

Hello guys I'm a newbie to this so be gentle! I bought my first hpi savage in September. It's an older model savage ss 25, anyway it was running great until I stripped the spur gear. I replaced it and since then my savage cuts out just after half throttle just as it changes into 2nd gear. I've tuned the hsn and it runs fine until it cuts out. My question is would a bad mesh stall a motor?? Any advice appreciated as I'm still learning. Cheers, Mike

your to lean. back out the hsn and give the motor more fuel. bad mesh will just stripe out your gears.

Cheers mate, all sorted now. Went back to factory and started again
