Ebay questions on selling

Hey guys I was wondering do you know is there a charge for selling on ebay? I know they charger whatever for your add, extra for picts and so on but is there like a monthly fee or something of that nature?

There's no monthly fee to be a seller or anything, but when you post an item for sale there will be a listing fee which is based on the starting bid and options (reserve, bold, etc). Then there is also a final value fee based on a percentage of the final price once the auction ends.

This is what I thought but I sold some stuff a few weeks ago and thoguht I was charged an extra ~$13 for something but will have to look back and dig a bit more into what it was for.

They got me for $38 for an high value item that did not even sell?? ouch!!

Ebay stung me for over $100 when I sold a set of 1/1 car alloy wheels!!! I didnt see it coming,
My advice is if you are selling a high value item add your phone number to the listing and try to sell for cash, (only works if buyer can collect item) to avoid the selling fees....
