Ok got her all clean and back together. Have ran a tank and a half thru it just checking it all out and so far so good. Solid and is gonna scream. Not sure if motor was ever actually broken in so many years ago so going easy on it so far but started right up and runnin strong. Adjusted second gear clutch half turn looser then original settings and got it back in for next run to see if she'll shift without too many times opening it back up. Thank you all for all of your help with my first rebuild!! I have only seen my passion for the hobby grow and look forward to all to come with it. Having issues getting pics to load and actually show up. I moved them into my RC file on Google photos and now they won't upload and I can't move them back if nothing else I'll upload some fresh ones after work or tomorrow.

Took it out yesterday again got it tuned prolly the best I've ever had either of them tuned after learning so much from you guys! I thought it was fun to drive before it was ever really tuned infact! Been a blast and has stayed together good I've done like suggested and keep it super clean after her runs a good blow down wipe down and gone over. Got it hitting all three speeds too which is crazy now gotta dial in brakes better and get it doing endos if I want. My first one starting doing something crazy. Every time I turned right it would accelerate and am thinking my battery pack is shot but also want to upgrade servos has anyone order the hump packs on Amazon it's 2 for 25$ they have those and I can't recall the name or the venoms look good too. Is 1600 mah plenty? Currently running the stock 1200s and this is first issues

I run these 1600Mah 5 cell packs in all 9 of my trucks and have had no issues with them, after about 1 hour of run time they normally use about 1/4 of their capacity.

As for servos I quite like the FeeTech FT5330M which are rated 35kg but only 28kg @ 6volts. They are by no means the best but are great value for money. I have these as steering servos in 5 of my trucks and have had no issues with them, they are quite strong and turn the wheels well.
