anyways wat other company motors would recommend?
not looking too expensive or too cheap. mid range price.

THNX GUYS!!!!!

look into a Picco 26 or some of the Werks motors. A lot of the engine companies will have compatibility charts or broken down into sections.

HPI has 3 engines which are faster than the s25, the F4.1(http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=1408) like in the
savage X and the K4.6(http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=15201) like in the XSS and SS4.6 and then there`s the K4.6 HO (http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=15204) like in the hellfire rtr.
all the engines I listed above are direct bolt-ins for the savage.
I got a HPI K4.6 and it`s a freaking fast engine, if I may advise you, get alu diffs first.
get nova diff-cups or buy those new savage XSS diffs first before you bolt in a bigger engine.
I got a SS4.6 and it eats diffs for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you know what I mean.
a big, powerful engine is nice but not when your diffs keep stripping, from my own personal experience I can tell you that it is VERY annoying.

here`s the nova cups:

here`s a link to the XSS, check out those diffs:

I own the surefire .32 with the stock dif I use to have a problem with the dif bust I just shimmed the 4 bevel gears and It hold up pretty well any .21 to .32 engine will drop right into the savvay with the stock motor mount

cool thnx for the info guys. .25 is a lil too fast for me specially for new starters like me. may be i should buy another .25 motor to practice more then head to bigger motor and upgrade diffs.

right now it seems my steering lil bit weak. maybe i should upgrade the servo first. thnx

u could allway run it rich so u don't get all the power if your worried about that but Y worrie have fun and breaking stuff is part of the hobbie like they say is 60% work on 30%driveing and 10% wating for parts
