Jester, I had a similar set-up. Worked great while they lasted.
The first ones I broke my a-arms, so I replaced with my extra rpm arms.
After ripping them off the bulkhead, I decided to go with the hpi one. It hardly wheelies anymore because of the high gearing and added weight of the recent upgrades, so it doesn't really effect me now.

I think my next step would be mounting it like yours.

Ok maybe it was your Idea Steve ..lol

I didn't wanna mount it to the bulkhead (for the reason you stated)
I mounted it like I did b/c I could easily remove it during heavy bashing ..

ooooh yeah It works awesome .. Vid comming soon

Awesome idea no matter who came up with it. I love recycling old parts. Makes upgrading even more worth while.

Nope, it was all Crash's idea, that's where I stole it from.

I didn't have the foresight to recognize the bulkhead problem, one of these days I'll get around to fixing it up.

For now I'm HPI'n it.

mine is an apache rip-off i think...first saw it before crash joined...but them...mine's a little different...
