Well you mite think to your self for a bit but i got REALLY bored today after school and i decided to me a savvy stand out of wood Yeah that's right wood... Iv liked wood since i was about 6 (KEEP YOUR COMMENTS TO YOUR SELF, DIRTY DIRTY MINDS) Iv done alot of projects from wood (e.g) Tables, Benches, Picture Frames, CD Racks ect but this was kinda a challenge but only took 35 minutes :blahblah:
• I started out by making a "JIG"-
• I used a side panel off of a old dresser drawer for the base-
• I then measured and cut a piece of 2x1 at a 45° angle-
• As you can see the 45° was a nice fit-
• How it's going to sit on the truck-
• Drilled out the cross bars-
• Put a LONG bolt through the two pieces witch will attach the other side-
• Tightened down the nut-
• Lookin good =)
• Drilled and counter sunk the holes to attach the two pieces-
• Once again drilled out and counter sunk the holes for the bottom of the stand-
• POOF a savage stand
• Savage SIDE VIEW-
• Savage REAR VIEW-
• Gotta have the HPISF sticker on there =)
• Used some L brackets and zip tied them to the wood, these will hold the truck on the stand-
• L Brackets worked =)
Well all in a days work =)
No status on the servo mounts there some were between Saskatchewan Canada and Ontario Canada, soo i dunno what's going on..
Hope you like the stand though :rock1:
Thanks
