Center Skid Plate

they help do keep sticks and rocks from coming up and doing damage.. just the other day I had a small rock wedge between the motor mount plate and the flywheel and I thought my engine seized.... They look cool but, there is added weight when u mount it

most center skids are soild so that sticks and such cant get up in their and cause damage. i would sugest that when you get one it not have openings for that stuff to get in.
 
i have the rpm centre plate. doesthe job keeping bits out of the transmission, and keeps dirt out of the brakes.
 
i think you need a hole in the skid plate so if water comes the the holes in the chassis it will drain out. i made my own skid plate it is more fun and cheaper!!

i agree with a drain hole just not a plate that looks like swiss cheese. should be mostly soild to protect parts. is that not the reason why most of us put them on our trucks
