I just went to my hobby store and got a carb and got home and took off old carb and compared them and they are different looked up the part number and it's for a f4.6 I have a k4.6 was wondering if it would still work

take it back, tell them they gave you the f 4.6 and you need the k 4.6, simples

Sometimes it's hard to get by there before they close and there 45 mins one way so really don't want to go back up there unless I can make this one work

does it fit? If it does it should work? Not much of any serious diff between the two apart from the Mid Range adjustment on the K. The F carb don't have that. If it fits, put some RTV sealant around it and tighten!

The F4.6 is a 7.5mm 2 needle carb and the K4.6 is a 8.5mm 3 needle carb. Looks like you're going to have to go back.

This is a 3 needle but not sure on size thanks for the info tho

Ya I doubt the carb would flow the right amount of fuel to the engine.... I would take it back and get the right carb to start with......

Yeah...the shop should have no issues to swap.
