I just sealed my carb on my motor, but don't know how tight the carb pinch bolt should be tightened? I don't want to overkill it and potentially strip out the pinch nut out(is that what it's called?). Should it be as tight as I can get it?

Correct just snug it up. I'm not sure if there is a torque for these but snug works. The best is to seal the ends of it with some threebond 1211.

ive broken pinch bolts before ive cracked carbs... i say tighten it pretty snug, use some blue or purple loctite if you're worried about it vibrating loose.
