I am begining to second guess where or not I should get a truggy. I am begining to think maybe a buggy is a better option. What do you guys think. It will be used for racing mostly with a little bashing from time to time when the savage breaks down mid bash and I don't have the parts to fix it or just not in the mood to.

Alex i have the losi 2.0 8t and i love it.
The buggy is a little harder to drive then the truggy. For a starter in that kind of racing i would go with the losi 8t 2.0 rtr. for the price you vant beat it. ill pick the truggy if i were you.

for myself i choose buggy.

for you i say get the truggy only caz you say your gonna do some bashin with it from time to time. buggy's not really gonna like that as much as the trug.

The only reason I am thinking maybe buggy is I have made a few new friends who are running buggy's. I am thinking I may be able to find a used one cheep and get both.

I've been wondering the same thing Alex. I am leaning more toward the buggy. I am loving the Losi 8ight 2.0. It's really a personal choice but I would go buggy.

Wow I'm up in the air about this. I have both and love both of them. I do find my self driving the Buggy more. I mainly bash. Both hold up well but the buggy just screams both handle on rails compared to the Savage although the Truggy is a little better because of tire width where the buggy can get squarely easier.

But like I mentioned I love the speed of the buggy's gearing.

Buggy's can take more abuse but they don't bash as well unless the surface is more smooth. On the track they are king, I tried to bash a little with my 808 but I just couldn't do it again to a $1600 race unit, like I did to my truggy......... If you want to bash with it, get a truggy. If your going to mainly race with light bashing buggy would be the better choice. My 808 has seen three races (plus practice) and about 25 15' jumps without one broken part, short of a bearing that was taken out while taking a big hit during racing. My .02
