Breaking in the Savage X 4.6 109083, currently at 2nd tank, rpm increases at about half tank, eventually dies. Easy to restart, but issue repeats. Running very rich, lots of oil, also appearing to be entering the pressure line possibly clogging it. Detaching the pressure line from the exhaust pipe gently bowing into it has a positive effect. Cannot find solution to issue on page 24 in the manual. Any tips?

Sounds like it could be running a bit rich. Could try winding the HSN in a couple of hours. I.E think of the screw on the needle like a clock face so 2 hours would be say from 12 to 2 clock. Don't go crazy if only on 2nd tank. It is expected to be oily but maybe it's getting to much iol. Also what brand of fuel are you using.
Model Technics Big Bang fuel seems to be very oily and the oil doesn't seem to burn off.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I'll try that. Running on Optifuel RTR 25 Optimix. First break in tank was done in the garage, but since there was alot of exhaust, I decided to do the second tank outside. Not sure if the cold weather got any (negative) effect on the process.

Optifuel 25% is an ok fuel and recommended by HPI for the Savage, I use this blend and % myself in all my trucks. The cold weather cold have something to do with it. Is your mill getting to a good operating temperature, it needs to be around 200°. If you have a temp gun measure this at the glow plug part of the head. If it's colder than this you could try wrapping the lower part of the head in foil or putting a 1/10 car tyre over it.
