Brakes and exhaust question on 4.6

I rebuilt this old 4.6 and need some help I cleaned up the old brakes and reinstalled them they worked ok but after a good hard run they work like crap what’s the best options they are stock 4.6 dual discs also I installed a brand new exhaust pipe new from a 4.6 the black plastic the coupler poped off the pipe twice wht the best way to deal with this ?

did you lightly sand the brake disks? as for the pipe coupler a couple of zipties pulled tight will help keep it on....

The stock throttle servo is crap, so consider upgrading to a high torque servo with at least 150 oz in to help pull the brakes on, also check your linkages to see that they are adjusted correctly.....

I did sand them down I will double check the linkage it was working good then like crap I will post some pics of it later

Could be the screws that hold the "pads" in place are stripped/backing out on you.
