Okay got my first Nitro truck Savage X with a flux transmission it runs good then all of a sudden brakes go out I look up everything how to fix it nothing works so I noticed my break Camp shaft comes out it's broken is there anyway I can fix it and when I buy a new what does it connect to on the inside pictures and videos welcome I'm a Electric guy crossing over LOL help

Lets see if I understand you correctly. Did part number 86092A in the drawing below come out? If so, your cam piston (86092B) came out. That is all that holds it in. Which in turn means your disk brakes are loose.

Yes that is exactly what happened will I need to break the whole transmission down to fix it

No, as you see in the drawing, the cam piston goes in from the outside of the case. If you loosen or remove the disc brakes you can reinstall it. Do you still have the cam piston? If not, you'll need to order that 86092 set.

that a newer style transmission? the brakes on my savage X AND my XL don't have those nifty collars (hpi 86145) for the brakepads and retaining screws, they both use step screws which are always a PITA to mess with at re-assembly time
I need me a couple sets of those!

The manual I linked was from the Savage X SS. I think the newer X and XL have the red fiber disk setup instead of the stainless as shown above.
