I have a Traxxas JATO 3.3 and was wondering if anyone else thinks the guys at Traxxas started drinking their 33% topfuel nitro. If you have never seen a 3.3 JATO go you have no clue how useless the truck is if it ever gets traction.
My friend is a police officer and he clocked my JATO at 58 MPH in a wheelie this weekend! I know that radar gun intended for cars aren't that accurate on RC's but we also did a top speed run and the gun said 73 MPH. I was surprised at how high the radar gun number was so I mounted a Garmin GPS on the JATO and let it rip, GPS says 69 MPH out of a completely stock JATO 3.3!
The power of the 3.3 combined with the light as all heck JATO is a crazy combo. Another gripe I have is can anyone keep the tires on the rims? I sure can't, they just ballon up and de-bead.
