3rd year in a row we have another MAJOR fire burning just east of our area.....
Over 15000 acres and we have a hot dry wind ssw driving it over fire lines..... Gonna be another stressful weekend here, I have my water hoses out and will stand in the pool if necessary to wet down my house.....

Ya we have the same problem every year up here, the last fire was 64 ''thousand'' acres. And just about burnt our house down

The more recent fort mac fire was a wopping 210 thousand acres, and burnt just about everything in the town, not just peoples places but there stuff too, it came out of the blue too.

    Jam,
Be safe man, unfortunately its that time of year and Pre and Post 4th of July Idiots are out. Have had our share of Wild fires hear in So. Cal. luckily there's not much to burn here in the Desert.
Good thing you have Clear Lake right there for aerial water drops.
