Anyone explain how to install the diff into the enron/integy diff casings? I feel like I'm being a complete idiot here but I cannot figure it out.
It's just for looks the xl is mainly retired now and these have been sat around for years!
Thanks in advance.

Is there a particular reason you want all alloy, as these look like older bulkhead design so if you need to replace diff/bearings you will have to completely remove from truck each time?

Like guinness said, those are older bulkheads which require more work to get open. Plus, they add unwanted weight, unless you're building a puller. Just some things to consider.

If you have the super HD outer axles/cups, I don't think you can use these. The cups won't fit through the holes.

If you have the older standard axles/cups, they should fit fine. Not sure what you mean regarding "installing them" though.

Wait... this may be for a v1 (pre-x) savage. They had different bulkheads/towers/bumper mounts entirely. To use these, you have to use the older style bulkheads with them. I'm not sure anymore what all fits/doesn't fit, but on the older savage, the diff "Case" and bulkhead were 2 different sets of parts. You had 2 pieces as the case halves and 2 pieces as the bulkhead that they fit into. The newer (post-X) versions have a single unit more or less.

Old (has the parts you need still):

Thank you that's the issue I'm on an xl with HD axles and they won't fit through the holes.
No worries I probably realised this back when I bought them!
Just making sure, I'll put her back together tonight with all the plastic stuff!
Just a shame as they do look good!

I had that issue quite a few years back before I had an X style truck. I ordered BP diffs on ebay that showed up complete, but I had GPM or Integy diff cases on my 21-25 chassis and had to use old out drives as my truck has the smaller axles anyway.
