Like the title says, what are some alternate fuel tanks besides the one for the x? I can't find the ofna 125cc since they are gone.
I was thinking a tmaxx or revo tank?

Ebay doesn't have any besides one that is 14 bucks and 14 bucks shipping with no part number just a stock pic. I might try a revo but idk

i going to try a losi 8T gen4 tank mounted in stock position
either way, a fix will need to be figured out since the new HPI owners refuse to make OEM parts anymore

not good, but not the worst, tanks are hard to find , so a good candidate for plastic welding, if you have a cheap heating iron , and patience, may get it!

A couple years ago I had a brain fart and piled my MMT into a concrete lite surround and tore off the whole left front and in that process I also destroyed the tank mounting hole and split the tank a bit, I made a new mount and repaired the split with Plumbers Goop and attached the new mount boss and so far it holds up fine

I swear by that GOOP, solid repairs and strong as when new...

Yep thats the stuff. Clean the area with Denatured alcohol and rough it up with some sandpaper (i used some 60 grit) and smear a good bit over the crack and let dry a couple days before using......

obviously since the new owners of HPI refuse to pay the chinese to make parts again we had better get used to gally-wanking other manufacturers parts into our savages

Years ago I took parts from 3 different RC Trucks to put together a truck to run in a local series onroad truck class, I used a trackmaster belt drive tranny and associated graphite chassis and rpm arms with Losi steering and some traxxas bits also... funny thing it was so dominate that they outlawed it from competing LOL.... I would tq every race and win most of the 10 or so i got to run in.... was a HOOT seeing all these high dollar cars get beat by my MUTT as I called it...
